How do you measure for a Korniche Roof Lantern?

The Korniche Roof Lantern is designed from external measurements. Your EXTERNAL measurement of your upstand, including roof covering, is the size of the lantern you should purchase. Please allow 6mm on each side to allow for rainwater drippage. The survey guide can be found here:

What glazing do you recommend?

We offer different glazing tints, all detailed on the ‘Aluminium Roof Lantern’ section of our website. 1.2 U-value glazing is the equivalent to double glazing, and can be supplied in Clear, Blue and Neutral. Our 1.0 U-value glazing is the equivalent to triple glazing, and reflects 85% of the solar glare. This can be supplied in Sunshade Blue or Aqua. For more info please see our glazing brochure.

How easy is it to fit a Korniche Roof Lantern?

Many domestic customers undertake the installation of a roof lantern themselves with adequate manpower as the product is so well made and easy to fit, but we recommend a registered window fitter.

Can I have any size Korniche Roof Lantern?

All Korniches are made to measure up to sizes of 6 metres by 4 metres. You can have any size up to this, please email for a bespoke quote. Bespoke sizes are on the same pricing structure as our standard listed lanterns so you will not pay more for sizes not listed on the website. We simply cannot fit them all on there!
